Job Summary: The Program Manager is dedicated to the overall service satisfaction levels of Maine Community Homecare (“MCH”) clients. The primary responsibilities include recruitment, training, and retention of a qualified Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and House Managers for the purpose achieving their role of providing quality care to the clients being served in all the programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for recruiting, orientation, training and performance of DSP and House Managers
· Responsible for developing and implementing the agency's quality management system, including both its internal quality assurance and improvement activities
· Responsible for monthly clinical auditing of clinical records, identifying training needs for staff,
monitoring of service provision, and agency adherence to the state and regulations
· Overseeing scheduling and time and attendances for all DSP and House Managers
· Overseeing the accuracy of documentation being entered in Therap and other report management tools
· Overseeing proper filing and documentation required for each DSP and House Manager
· Participate in initial client assessment and coordinate periodic visits to clients’ locations
· Oversee the management of contact with client, families, hospital discharge planners, and other agencies regarding client’s needs and concerns
· Ensure that all processes are managed according to the policy throughout the entire employment relationship, including interviewing, hiring, orienting, training, supervising, performance evaluation, counseling/corrective action, and termination
· Monitors service quality provided to MCH clients
· Utilizing MCH policy, supervise client services to ensure client needs are successfully met and plan of care is being followed and adheres to company standards
· Recommend changes to plans of care and coordinates required changes
· Coordinate moving in and out of all clients
· Maintain professional communication and appearance
· Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards
· Coordinate weekly, bi-weekly and monthly meetings with house managers or all staff.
Experience/ Training/ Education / Certification:
· Bachelor’s degree in business/Communications/Healthcare Administration
· Management: 2 years (Preferred)
· Home Health/Care ‐ Staffing: 1 year (Preferred)
· Scheduling experience in the staffing industry and proven leadership ability
· Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers professionally
· Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office, including Outlook
· Ability to multi‐task
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
