Job Description:
The Professional Land Surveyor position involves a variety of technical, multi-disciplined engineering work in the field of professional land surveying and the development of Right of Way Plans.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Interpreting legal documents,
- Dealing with property ownership,
- Making decisions relating to survey and real estate issues,
- Approving plans, and
- Writing legal description and supervising.
This Professional Land Surveyor position will supervise field survey crews, coordinate consultant survey crews, supervise the development, recordation, and existing inventory of R/W plans involved in property acquired for transportation projects.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in Maine and two (2) years of experience in land surveying at the professional level.
