About The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to directly support the Marketing Director in a wide range of primary and strategic marketing duties across our entire geographic footprint from Maine to Florida. The Marketing Manager will provide vital support through the oversight, coordination, and participation in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and products for the organization. Some key functions of the role:
- Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
- Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
- Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company services.
- Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research, and executive direction.
- Maintains knowledge on emerging products and construction industry services.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to develop growth plans and strategic actions for the organization.
- Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget, and marketing initiative budgets.
- Performs periodic travel to various meeting points relating to advertising, networking, customer site visits, vendor meetings, and general planning and research.
What you will be doing:
- Provide business development and marketing support to fifteen Operating Divisions and twelve internal departments.
- Provide internal customer-service oriented communications and training support to all departments.
- Create and manages internal employee communications.
- Oversee Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to maintain and update Marketing and Sales databases, and analyze related data.
- Write articles and promotional materials for external and internal audiences.
- Oversee production, maintenance and SEO of 3 corporate websites, and one employee intranet; Responsible for generation of all content.
- Assist with In-Bound Marketing campaigns and ongoing major campaigns for Corporate Branding & Mission, Employer Branding, Safety, Employee Ownership and Company Culture.
- Create and update Qualification Packages, Company promotional materials, and Company communication templates.
- Market research, plan & budget preparation, insertion order and trade ad preparation & fulfillment.
- Collaborate to support a social media presence for branding and recruitment.
- Copywrite, design, and produce collateral, direct mail, print, and online.
- Manage video production for marketing and recruitment purposes.
- Public Relations: Generate and disseminate press releases, feature stories, etc.; monitor and report on press coverage.
- Oversee corporate & regional Philanthropy strategy, budgets, facilitation, and communications.
- Manage promotional swag for executives, customers, and employees; research, pricing, quality control, fulfillment, and inventory management.
- Manage the (employee) Company Store, working with vendor(s) to maintain, refresh content, set pricing, upload to employee accounts, etc.
- Perform additional marketing assignments and support functions, as needed.
In order to be successful in this role, here’s what we will need from you:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications as well as various advertising and marketing software programs and applications.
- Adobe Creative Suite and MAC experience strongly preferred.
- Possess a thorough understanding of market developments and trends, marketing strategies, and effective practices.
- Ability to conceptualize creative solutions to marketing and sales objectives.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets, production schedules and personnel teams, inhouse and freelance.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, and physical activity may also include bending, climbing, keyboarding, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, sitting, and standing, walking and using the telephone.
- Ability to communicate information to others as well as observe details at close range.
About You
You are an experienced and versatile Marketing professional with at least 5 years of marketing experience, however seven years or more of demonstrated success in Marketing and leadership in the construction industry is highly desirable. You will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, with preference given to candidates that possess a Graduate degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing. You also have exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills, along with strong leadership and decision-making abilities. In addition to being highly organized, you are also adept at problem solving and have a keen attention to detail. You have especially strong writing skills and are able to effectively collaborate with all levels of team members. You are equally comfortable contributing on a strategic level, as well as a tactical task-oriented level, to help ensure organizational success!
