Overnight security at a summer camp needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As security you will be expected to do the following things to ensure the safety and security of campgrounds, including, but not limited to:
- Traversing of full property in rounds, and in random patterns, both on foot and on a golf cart
- Going into and out of buildings
- Reporting routine observations while on rounds in a log format
- Maintaining situational awareness of camp activities, rules, and regulations (knowing which staff are on duty)
- Communicating to staff on duty any issues with campers or staff breaking rules (outside of bunk past curfew), including using radio equipment contact leadership staff on duty, completing accident/incident reports
- Maintaining professionalism at all times including appearance, behavior, and communications.
- Remaining alert at all times.
SKILLS:
- Relevant training in security procedure
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations
-Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Qualifications:

- Military and/or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience around the youth (coaching, teaching, etc.)
