What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Care Associate position at Maine Family Planning?
MFP is seeking a Health Care Associate to work 4 days a week (30 hours) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at our Bangor clinic.
The Health Care Associate assists family planning providers in the delivery of administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioner as required by the State of Maine. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor are required. Follows Maine Family Planning policies and clinical protocols.
Qualifications Needed for Position :
Experience and Skill Requirements : The following experience and skills are considered essential :
- 12 months or more working in social / health services preferred.
- Ability to be organized, manage systems, computer skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA guidelines.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- Commitment to family planning mission.
