Job Description
The Maine Health Care Association Workers’ Compensation Fund is seeking a friendly, motivated and self-directed individual with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude with a desire to learn, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will provide highly skilled administrative and office support to our team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for the group.
Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of project assignments using state of the art technology software
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports and educational materials
- Support claims and underwriting management
- Manage various bookkeeping/financial responsibilities
- Perform general office tasks such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment
- Provide support for special projects as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of advanced education or comparable office manager experience
- Comfortable learning new software applications
- Mathematical aptitude and analytical ability
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and professional
