Maine Medical Center Child & Adolescent Outpatient PsychiatryMaine Medical Center's Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic provides treatment and care to children and adolescents under age 21 who experience a variety of psychiatric challenges. These include mood, anxiety, behavior, psychotic, learning, and developmental disorders, substance abuse co-occurring with psychiatric illness, those who have experienced adverse or traumatic events, and those at risk for suicide.Position Highlights :

- Serve as the initial contact for new patient referrals, conducting thorough orientations to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Provide care coordination and clinical support across co-occurring service lines, ensuring continuity of care.
- Play a critical role in the safety of medication management for out-patients, supporting effective and safe treatment.
- Assist in training residents and fellows on various practices and procedures, fostering professional development.
- Collect, score, generate, and distribute results from rating scales and diagnostic tools, providing valuable feedback to providers for patient care.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education : . Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred. 2. License / Certifications : Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. CRMA preferred. 3. Experience : Two years of experience working with patients with mental illness required. Experience in a mental health facility preferred. 4.
