Job Description
The Campus Safety Officer II plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at Maine Maritime Academy. As the primary responder to campus emergencies, this individual ensures the welfare and safety of students, employees, and visitors are protected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the campus by foot and vehicle to identify potential safety hazards or security concerns.
- Enforce campus parking rules and issue parking tickets as necessary.
- Investigate incidents and document facts in a timely manner.
- Respond to building fire alarms and assist occupants with evacuation.
- Work closely with Student Services to ensure student safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Criminal background clearance.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
- Valid, clean driver's license.
