Position Overview
The Head Men's Golf Coach is a part-time position under the supervision of the Director of Athletics. The employee serves as the head coach of the men's golf team and oversees this athletic program in accordance with NCAA rules, regulations, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Coach of the men's golf program, responsible for teaching and training student-athletes.
- Conduct high-quality teaching in a humane learning environment.
- Organize and direct all aspects of a successful and competitive NCAA Division III program.
- Monitor and promote the academic and personal growth of student-athletes.
- Evaluate and improve coaching methods and strategies to ensure optimal results.
- Develop and manage the program's budget.
- Operate the program in a manner consistent with NCAA and NAC bylaws.
- Develop and maintain alumni support for the program.
- Supervise assistant coaches and interns.
