Who We Are:
We are a multi-location practice in Southern Maine looking for full-time Optometrists to deliver exceptional and professional vision care in our Gorham/Standish Office and Brunswick Office. Our practice offers $50,000 loan repayment, modern facilities and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, certified EHR software, on-site Optical, and experienced staff.
What You’ll Do:
You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care who’s eager to learn and develop their skill set. Your regular duties will include:
- Performing comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of a variety ocular diseases
- Prescribing corrective lenses
- Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintaining detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
- Handling eye care emergencies

Skills & Qualifications We’re Looking for:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from the USA or Canada.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.A.
- Valid state license to practice Optometry in the State of Maine
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
