- Foster collaboration between researchers, engineers, and industry partners to advance smart manufacturing.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring their seamless integration into existing processes.
**Requirements:**
- Ph.D. in engineering relevant to advanced manufacturing or a related science.
- 15 years of professional experience in advanced manufacturing and technology development.
- Expertise in one or more areas: advanced/smart manufacturing technologies, Industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, automated tape/fiber layup, machining, composite materials, robotics, modeling and simulation of engineering processes, equipment design, and engineering design.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effectiveness working in a research environment that bridges discovery and applications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a research group and leading a research portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and constant deadlines.
