Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

This position will direct tasks associated with the design, build, and programming of electrical control systems, manufacturing of parts and components, outreach, design, manufacture, and test of equipment necessary to accomplish the mission of the Advanced Manufacturing Center. The AMC exists to provide technical and machining support to Maine industry, the R & D functions of the University System, and the economic development efforts of the state and educate university student interns. Typical hiring range for this soft-money funded position is $80,000 to $90,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications : Required :

• M.S. in related Engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet constant deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with industry members.
