Job Description
The University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) is seeking a Residential Director & New Scholars Advisor to be part of the 2025 UMF Summer Upward Bound (UB) Program . This is an exciting opportunity to engage with high school students in innovative and creative ways. The Residential Director and New Scholars Advisor provides direct support to Upward Bound participants, living in the residence hall. Advisors plan and facilitate daily activities for students and participate in all aspects of the summer program, including overnight supervision.
Compensation : $15.00 per hour. This role is grant-funded and contingent upon the continued availability of external funding.
Schedule :
- May 27, 2025 - June 16, 2025 : Approximately ten (10) to fifteen (15) hours per week, with a variable schedule based on department needs, with flexibility to accommodate the candidate's availability whenever possible.
- June 17, 2025 - August 1, 2025 : Full-time (40 hours per week). The typical work schedule is Sunday evening through Friday afternoon.
