What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech/Language Pathologist District Wide position at Maine School Administrative District #6?
MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Speech / Language Pathologists to join the instructional staff in MSAD #6 for the 2025-2026 school year. The Speech/Language Pathologist works to determine the best course of treatment to assist in developing speech and language skills that facilitate personal, social, and intellectual development for students. As a part of a collaborative team, the Speech/Language Pathologist will be empowered to share expertise, knowledge, and recommendations in order to respond to individual student needs by implementing intervention strategies.
Applicants for this position must hold a Master's Degree in Speech / Language Pathology or related field; State of Maine license as a Speech / Language Pathologist and an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (Clinical Fellow candidate may be considered); valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC); experience in the field; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
This position will be filled when a successful candidate has been found. Salaries and benefits may be found on the District website in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
