Boiler Operator
This position is responsible for operation, general maintenance, and repair and troubleshooting of the high pressure boiler in the food processing plant. Additional duties include operating an ammonia refrigeration system. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitor / operate compressed air system(s)
- Monitor incoming water : well and town
- Complete security checks of all doors each shift
- Monitor fire systems
- Participate in and adhere to all HazMat, Confined Space and LOTO trainings
- This position is required to be part of the Emergency Response Team. A respirator fit test is necessary.
- Working in high height environments is routinely part of the position
