We are looking for a Project Manager Extraordinaire – Are You Ready to Lead the Charge

Our client that specializes in Commercial and Industrial Machinery Maintenance is on the hunt for a Project Manager with a passion for problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and keeping things on track (even when things try to get off track!). As a Project Manager, you will be at the helm, steering the ship from quotation to installation, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with customers, manage sub-contractors, and collaborate with a team of Territory Managers and Technical Service Representatives. You’ll be the one making sure that everything goes according to plan, from initial estimates to final product installation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Evaluate and Estimate: Review and clarify project scopes, timeframes, and budgets, working closely with Territory Managers, Technical Service Representatives, and customers. You'll make sure that the entire quotation process aligns with company guidelines, because precision is key!
• Consultative Approach: You’re not just a manager, you’re a consultant! You'll ensure that the customers get the best solutions tailored to their needs, building lasting relationships along the way.
• Paperwork & Proposals: No project is complete without documentation. You'll handle proposals, quotes, and customer information with accuracy and timeliness (yes, it’s all about the details).
• Project Oversight: Oversee sub-contractors and field service technicians, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards and resolving any issues that pop up along the way.
• Stay Current: You’ll keep your finger on the pulse of the latest trends, products, and pricing. Whether it’s new services or industry changes, you’ll ensure we’re always ahead of the curve.
• Strategic Input: Participate in long- and short-term business planning, sharing your insights into new territories, customer needs, and operational efficiencies. You’ll help in developing the big picture and execute it flawlessly.

What You Can Bring to the Table:

• Proven project management experience (bonus points if you’ve got a track record in industrial solutions or related fields).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a knack for thinking on your feet.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. You’ll need to keep everyone in the loop and maintain smooth communication with vendors, customers, and the internal team.
• An eye for detail and organization. You’ll be responsible for making sure that no project detail is overlooked.
• A proactive attitude. You’re always looking ahead to solve problems before they even arise.
• Ability to travel to customer sites when needed (because sometimes you just need to see things for yourself).
