About the Role
At Maine State Ferry Service, we are seeking an experienced Maritime Operations Manager to lead our ferry operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of our ferry service, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of all internet infrastructure, including ticketing services
- Oversee contract procurement and invoicing
- Ensure proper training of all staff
- Work closely with U.S. Coast Guard to ensure compliance with Code of Federal Regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in managing programs and leading people
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree and/or experience in the maritime industry is preferred
