The Maine Trust for Local news is seeking a Journeyman Pressman to work nights in our growing press operations in South Portland, Maine.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for all areas of the Pressroom and Platemaking operations including:
- Prepping rolls of paper
- Setting rollers in the press
- Standard maintenance of press equipment
- All functions to work on the press, folders and press controls
- Ensures printed products meet all quality standards
- Completes prioritized work to meet deadlines

Qualifications
Our Ideal Candidate has:
- Previous Offset Printing experience. Goss Urbanite or DGM 850 experience is preferred.
- Previous experience on Jaw and Rotary folder preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work nights, including Saturday nights.
- Working safely and understands safety procedures, including LOTO and Hazard Communication
