We are seeking a Cook to join our dynamic dietary team, to take part in preparing and serving meals for America's heroes - our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Start parents! The Cook is responsible for safe food handling, preparation of meals for our residents, including some therapeutic dietary needs. This position it responsible for supervising the Food Service Workers in the absence of the Dietary Manager.
This is a per diem position, with an every-other weekend commitment, 4 : 00am to 12 : 30pm.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service preferred
- Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
