The Receptionist performs receptionist and clerical functions to facilitate the administrative activities of the Home. The successful candidate will have strong leadership & organizational skills contributing to the efficiency and continuity in the role. Perform clerical duties including ensuring the safety of residents, greeting the public, answering a multi-line phone, word processing, maintaining spreadsheets, photocopying, collating, sorting and assisting with projects.
Requirements:- High school diploma required
- Previous administrative experience is required
- Proficiency in the use of general office equipment and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Must be flexible and able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and critical thinking skills are essential.
- Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
