As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area. MaineGeneral Health is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Hepatologist to join our thriving Gastroenterology practice at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, Maine.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert outpatient consultation, diagnosis, management, and treatment of liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and liver failure.
- Collaborate closely with our established team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive, integrated patient care.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results pertinent to hepatology practice.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle changes, and preventive health strategies related to liver health.
Practice Highlights:
- No Call Required: No weekend or holiday hours; strictly outpatient practice.
