Physical Therapist (PT) - Per Diem

Collaborative Care Team: Work alongside a team of skilled professionals, including physical therapists, nurses, and physicians, to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Diverse Patient Population: Help patients recover from a range of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, neurological rehabilitation, and mobility impairments. Impactful Work: Make a real difference in patients' lives by helping them regain mobility, independence, and quality of life. Your Role: Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans. Implement treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities and techniques. Document patient progress, including subjective, objective, and assessment findings. Educate and counsel patients and their families/caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and goals. Assist with patient discharge planning, including recommendations for adaptive equipment and continued care. Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapy Assistants as needed. Qualifications: Maine State Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification preferred. Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team and in a flexible work environment.
