For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months’ separation from employment.
The Registered Nurse for this position would hold a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and be responsible for telephone triage of patients cared for by the heart failure team at our ambulatory cardiology practice in Scarborough, ME. Responsibilities also include nurse office / patient education visits, implementation of Guideline Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT), and monitoring of cardioMEMs devices. Once trained, this candidate would have the opportunity to have a hybrid remote schedule. The ideal candidate would have at least two years of cardiology experience. This is Full Time; a 40-hour per week position, with no required holidays or weekends.
Summary :
The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians / advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
