Mainely Ticks provides tick and mosquito spray services to residential and commercial clients in accordance with industry/company standards, rules and regulations. We offer extensive training for our Seasonal Spray Technicians who deliver valuable service to customers every day. We offer a $1,000 signing bonus after 90 days of employment; $2,500 after 90 days of employment if you already have a category 7E license in the state of Maine.

Responsibilities

Where and how will you serve customers?

• The ability to identify areas of concern using a map of the property provided to you such as: areas of standing water, property lines, gardens, environmentally sensitive areas.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Communicate with customers by setting expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
• Serve as a problem solver to meet all of your customers’ needs
• Complete all required service-related documentation on a hand-held device
• Apply materials safely and effectively in accordance with all label, State, and Federal laws and/or regulations.
• Respond quickly to unscheduled requests for service.
• Attain and maintain State Pesticide Applicator licenses required by company in a timely manner.

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

No Experience Required – we’ll train you!

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 500 feet of hose.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
