Mainfreight International is a leading full-service supply chain provider looking for an experienced professional to join our team.
This role involves coordinating the entire shipping process for a set of existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage import FCL and LCL shipments from booking to delivery.
- Perform operational tasks such as booking, tracking, sending arrival notices, arranging deliveries, and invoicing.
- Keep customers informed through regular communication.
- Work closely with branches globally to organize shipments.
- Partner with third-party vendors and internal colleagues.
- Negotiate quotes and expand business with existing clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Background in freight forwarding or international trade.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Traits:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, focusing on multi-modal operations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Cargowise or equivalent software.
