Global Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

Mainfreight International is a leading full-service supply chain provider looking for an experienced professional to join our team.

This role involves coordinating the entire shipping process for a set of existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage import FCL and LCL shipments from booking to delivery.
• Perform operational tasks such as booking, tracking, sending arrival notices, arranging deliveries, and invoicing.
• Keep customers informed through regular communication.
• Work closely with branches globally to organize shipments.
• Partner with third-party vendors and internal colleagues.
• Negotiate quotes and expand business with existing clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Background in freight forwarding or international trade.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Traits:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, focusing on multi-modal operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Cargowise or equivalent software.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Result-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Able to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate a proactive approach.
