The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong background in logistics, supply chain management and/or operations in a 3PL environment.
• A commitment to understanding and meeting customer’s needs, ensuring that our logistical operations align with our mission to deliver exceptional service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate changing priorities with ease, maintaining a calm and focused approach.
• Familiar with logistics software and technology tools that facilitate tracking, reporting and process improvement.
• Knowledge in safety, quality and efficiencies.
• Flexible Team player.

Position Summary: Oversee and Optimize supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics operations while fostering a collaborative team environment Serve as the critical link with communication and coordination between Customers, Warehouse Associates and Dispatch Team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and providing oversite of the daily operations.
• Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, within customer specifications, and cost effectively.
• Supervise 7-10 direct reports.
• Ensure daily KPI are met.
• Identify and implement operational improvements
• Serve as the first point of contact on issues.
• Maintain records as required.
• Work alongside leadership to establish a unified approach.
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve all experiences with MainOcean, LLC.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years of warehouse related experience with successful track record of developing successful operators while meeting quality, schedule and budget.
• Skilled at managing multiple simultaneous activities within the warehouse.
• Ability to keep accurate reporting on all work completed and job in progress.
• Proficiency in RF scanning and WMS system.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced with inventory management and cycle counts
• Prefer a 4-year degree in management.
• High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

• Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk.
• Stands and walks regularly throughout the day to include going up and down stairs.
• Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment throughout the workday.
• Exposed to warehouse environment occasionally to include lack of temperature control and higher noise levels as well as moving powered equipment in the work area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,589.00 - $60,391.00 per year
