Responsibilities:

As a 1-1 Direct Support Professional, you will assist with:

• Community Connections & Social Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining social relationships, encouraging community engagement, and promoting inclusion
• Shopping: Provide support with grocery shopping and other errands as needed
• Paperwork: Assist with personal paperwork such as addressing mail, paying bills, and staying organized with necessary documentation
• Light Housework: Help with household tasks, including budgeting, meal preparation, and general home organization
• Appointments: Provide transportation and/or accompany the individual to appointments, offering support as needed
• Problem Solving, Support & Advocacy: Offer guidance and assistance in decision-making and problem-solving while advocating for the individual’s needs and preferences
  
  

Locations: Coon Rapids, Nowthen, Stanchfield

Shifts: 4 hours Every other Friday 10a-2p or 11a-3p or 12-4p or 1p-5pNowthenSat afternoons & Monday afternoons/eveningsStanchfieldTues-Thurs 1pm-5pm, Fri 11am- 5pm, every other Sat & Sun 11am-6pmCoon Rapids

Wage: $17.00/hour

What You Need:

• A passion for helping others and making a positive difference in their lives
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid US driver’s license and Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Reliable Transportation with Insurance Coverage
• Ability to pass a background check through DHS
