Director of Client Accounting

Job Overview
This is not your typical Accounting Manager position. We are looking for a lead in our organization to lead our client accounts. Their main responsibility is to retain the clients assigned to them and ensure the client's happiness within our scope of work.

Duties

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct cash flow analysis to optimize liquidity and financial performance.
• Supervise the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights for strategic planning.
• Ensure timely completion of financial audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
• Monitor compliance with ( Tax Credit) regulations and other relevant financial guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
• Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in an accounting management role within or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger functions.
• Familiarity with financial auditing processes and standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
