Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy.
- Provide care for toddlers, including tube feeding and other specialized needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient care and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct laboratory tests as required and interpret results for appropriate action.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Lift and transfer patients safely while adhering to proper protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, including medication administration, IV therapy, and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
