Responsibilities:
- Engaging Interactions: Build meaningful connections with residents, staff, and family members through positive interactions.
- Companionship & Support: Assist residents with recreational activities and daily living tasks.
- Life Skills Coaching: Support residents with medication reminders, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily service logs and track progress toward care plan goals.
- Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals while adhering to dietary plans.
- Communication: Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Caregiving Interest or Experience: Prior experience or a strong desire to work with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Dependability: Reliability and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Compassion & Integrity: A caring nature and strong ethical standards.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment).
