Real Estate Closing Agent

Mainstay Title Agency is seeking a full time Closing Agent, with a strong book of business in the Coral Springs area. The Closing Agent will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions from contract to closing. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, possesses strong customer service skills and is very computer literate with the ability to perform the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The closing agent is responsible for handling all purchase and refinance transactions.
• Prepares/reviews HUDs/CDs/Settlement statements
• Prepares closing documents to be executed by the buyer/seller/borrower.
• Uploads HUD/CD statements to sellers/buyers for approval
• Assists the processor with resolving title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, etc.
• Facilitate closings in office and ability to travel locally for mobile closings when necessary.
• Full disbursement of files, including: issuance of checks, wire transmittals, receipts, etc.
• Experience with SoftPro Select is a plus
• Florida closing experience/knowledge is required
• Other duties as required by the department
• Salary negotiable based on experience

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Florida Insurance Producer License
• Notary Public
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of NABOR and FR/BAR contracts
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise fiduciary responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong book of business is required

A successful candidate must pass a background check and be able to provide two professional references.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
