Summary
Mainstream Fiber Networks is seeking a Manager of Installations FTTH, MDU, SMB and enterprise services. This critical role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the fiber optic network installation process, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services to customers. This role involves leading and coordinating teams of technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, while adhering to quality standards, safety regulations, and budgetary constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Management
Plan, organize, and manage FTTH, MDU, SMB and enterprise services installation projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and implement project schedules, allocate resources, and track progress. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of FTTH, MDU, SMB and enterprise services installation technicians and subcontractors.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and address performance issues. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Possess in-depth knowledge of fiber optic network installation techniques and best practices. Stay abreast of industry standards, technologies, and trends.
Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex installation issues.
Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the installation process. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Identify and address quality issues promptly. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture.
Investigate and report safety incidents.
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution. Provide regular project updates and reports.
Manage project budgets and track expenses.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
