Position : Joint Use Coordinator

Location : Indiana

Pay Range : $61K per year (based on experience)

Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

  • Role and Responsibilities

  • Monitor permitting progress, oversee scheduling to ensure MSFN receives documentation in a timely manner from vendors.
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
  • Ensure adherence to construction maps and designs.
  • Understand and implement local construction methods and procedures as required.
  • Review permits and Right-Of-Way (ROW) considerations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications prior to and after constructions.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Document work being completed in the field while at a site and or while in office.
  • Perform reviews of documentation provided by inspectors, engineers, and drafters prior to being submitted to outside vendors.
  • Complete other duties / projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience with Aerial Fiber Construction, Underground Fiber Construction, via directional boring, trenching, and plowing.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering design and specifications of design packages.
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret design packages and have knowledge of civil engineered prints.
  • Leadership / compliance management experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with OSHA Standard 1926 - Safety and Health Regulations for Construction, including Standard 1926 Subpart V - Power Transmission and Distribution.
  • Proficient at using computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with construction crews, engineers, and customers.
  • Must have valid drivers’ license.

  • Position may be located in-office but is open to remote work.
  • Field work may be required. Including but not limited to field measurements, and pole attachment measurements
