What do we do?
Mainstream Renewable Power is a leading developer of renewable energy projects worldwide focusing on onshore and offshore wind projects as well as emerging renewable technologies. Mainstream will construct and operate renewable energy assets globally and is committed to delivering its projects to the highest safety standards.
What are we looking for?
This role is designed to enhance the performance of our operating portfolios over the next 12 months. Given our timeline, we requier a highly capable individual who can seamlessly integrate into the team and contribute immediately to meet the short term objectives defined and build towards implementing the company's long term business plan.
What Challenges will you face?
- Identify and implement optimization strategies across our operating portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the Chilean energy market to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvements.
- Engange in negotiations to implement new business units such as BESS within existing portfolios.
- Structure and oversee financing solutions, working closely with banks and other financial stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
- Support the integration of new M&A opportunities wihtin the company's existing platform.
- Develop and execute financial models related to project finance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate complex financial and operation insights clearly to senior leadership and relevant teams.
What knowledge do you require?
Educational, knowledge and experience background
- Business Engineering or similar degree.
- Strong understanding of the Chilean energy market.
- Deep knowledge of project finance structures, credit agreements, inlcuding debt and equity financing mechanisms and financial modeling in Excel.
- Proven experience in portfolio optimization and negotiation with financial institutions.
Language skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
