Physician Assistant Job Description
MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're seeking a fast, fun, and friendly Physician Assistant (PA) to work in multiple clinics across various cities.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled PA who can provide patient-focused care to help our patients feel better quickly. The ideal candidate will be flexible, working with teams in different clinics, and providing leadership in a high-volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.
Services Provided
- Urgent Care: Provide immediate medical attention to patients with non-life-threatening conditions.
- Primary Medical Care: Offer routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care services.
- Telemedicine: Conduct virtual consultations with patients via phone or video calls.
- Occupational Medicine: Provide medical services to employees in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor surgeries, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
- Provide general dermatology services, including skin exams and treatments.
- Offer general GYN expertise, including routine check-ups and screenings.
- Treat children of all ages, from infancy to adolescence.
Work Schedule
Shifts are determined two months in advance and may include weekend hours. Our MainStreet Clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. KidsStreet Clinics, located in Mobile, Montgomery, Pelham, and Columbus, GA, operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and environments
