Job Summary:
This position involves inspecting and cleaning truck bodies at the end of the production process. A general knowledge of detailing and high attention to detail are preferred to ensure maintenance quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean interior spaces within trucks using vacuums, towels, and cleaning products.
- Utilize power washers, scrub brushes, and cleaning products to maintain exterior surfaces according to customer specifications.
- Apply decals and tags according to provided line drawings and work instructions to adhere to operational procedures and DOT regulations.
- Collaborate with the quality team to conduct a final review of each truck through an auditing process.
- Take photographs of completed units for future reference points and tool usage by the sales department.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, wearing required personal protective equipment as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs by suggesting ideas and demonstrating initiative in controlled areas.
- Familiarize yourself with organizational policies, safety procedures, and directives outlined in the Maintainer Employee Handbook and Quality Manual.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management as necessary.
