Work Environment:
This position requires frequent interaction with mechanical components, tools, and equipment. The employee must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and other specific equipment to perform assigned job duties.
- Interprets and communicates blueprints and/or shop drawings for product specifications in the areas of assembly and installation.
- Able to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and/or mechanical problems on all units.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 3-4 years of related automotive/diesel mechanical training preferred.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts, utilize tape measure, and read electrical schematics and diagrams effectively.
