Maintco Corp. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager.
The Sr. Project Manager position is responsible for managing field construction teams, budgets, and internal office duties and reports to the Construction Manager - Field.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards – report issues
Manage all phases of convenient store/restaurant/retail construction remodeling and build-out, including: carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, finishes, etc.
Schedule and coordinate materials to arrive on site on time
Handle sales and customer relationships in the field – ensure that clients and customers are satisfied
Represent Maintco Corp. while in the field managing vendors and installations
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other field personal to determine the field specifications of the project
Research and qualify new contractors and vendor partners related to project needs
Train, manage and evaluate new contractors and vendors per project requirements
Provide leadership to in house and field teams – mentor managed staff on more efficient practices
Ensures project specifications and Maintco Corp quality expectations are met
Superior attention to detail and ability to identify underlying problems before they develop
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Solution oriented and able to adapt and improvise to maintain quality and schedule
Promote a safety-first mentality, leads by example and oversees, monitors and enforces compliance
Coordinate all deliveries to the job site and reviews accuracy & quality of shipment
Coordinate timing of trade/subcontractor work
Excellent communication skills
Hire contractors and other staff to allocate responsibilities
Ensures all project initiatives, processes and quality control are in conformance
Quickly make project decisions in lieu of adversity that keep the project on time and on budget
Ability to collaboratively work with Project Lead to maintain project budget, schedule, and job reporting
Effectively communicate with project lead and submits all project deliverables in a timely manner
Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Represents Maintco Corp when working with regulatory agencies, and all other external parties
Utilize experience and effective communication to plan and accomplish goals while in the field
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected when working in the field with limited access to email or phone
Flexibility to meet a wide variety of company goals and drive successful project execution
Able to delegate work to subcontractors and work long shifts/extended hours
General Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with Project Manager experience: 5-10 years
Manage 35 projects in a year successfully
Successfully hire at least 100 subcontractors for projects
Read plans and create at least 50 bids in one calendar year.
Create additional company sales through cost saving service recommendations of $250,000 or more per year in gross revenue
Ensure that team holds a mobile compliance of 98.5% or better over one years’ time
Hold and maintain at least 1 project management certification for 1 years’ time
Complete $250,000 gross revenue of projects per month during 3 continuous years’ time
Manage a team that completes $2,500,000 gross revenue of projects per month during 5 continuous years’ time
Train at least 5 superintendents,
