A Snapshot of your Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership within the data and commercial team to establish and deliver the vision for the data platform
- Manage and mentor a data engineers and analysts' team to develop and deploy B.I. analytics and data engineering solutions
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the group
- Help create an environment for continuous development by putting in processes for handover between U.S. and Bangalore
- Be a mentor to the team to help them understand the media domain, relate it to the business and data strategy decision, and break down complex data and technology concepts
- Build a nimble but robust support practice that can handle a range of production issues, improve operational processes through automation, and find better workflows for deployment
- Define the operating model and help support new work streams from data products, data science, applied insights, and other data teams
- Establish a robust data quality discipline and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Focus on hiring in the growth year by identifying candidates with the technical expertise required for the roles and demonstrating strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
