Datacenter Technician
Shift: Wednesday-Saturday from 5pm-3am
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of our data center operations.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and cabling within the data center
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve network connectivity issues
- Conduct routine audits of data center equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data center operations
- Assist with hardware installations and replacements
- Execute fiber splicing and terminations as needed
Qualifications
- Experience on the administrative and/or parts management
- Proficiency in computer networking and electrical systems
- Experience with VoIP systems and network installation
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics
- Knowledge of Juniper and Avaya network equipment
- Field service experience is a plus
- Ability to work with computer hardware components
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
