What are the responsibilities and job description for the FT Facilities Services Manager, Doe Run Elementary position at Maintenance/Custodian Department?
The Manheim Central School District is searching for a FT Facilities Services Manager for Doe Run Elementary.
This position supervises and performs regular facility care duties. The position is also responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, secure, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and community.
Duties include, but are not limited to: supervising, inspecting, and participating in work performed by facilities services custodians; training facility services custodians in their duties and responsibilities; developing work schedules for facility services custodians; and cooperating with the building administrator regarding use of school facilities for various activities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of facility cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment; know how to use computers; have the ability to plan and organize work; and be able to work as a member of a team. This person also must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people; must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented; and must be able to work with limited supervision.
A high school diploma or equivalent and experience in educational facility cleaning is required. A willingness to participate in continuing education related to district duties is preferred.
