Job Title: Painter
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial painting, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes to a variety of surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and school staff to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- 3 Plus Years Experience with professional painting, poly finishes
- Proficient in various painting techniques and tools. ( rolling, spraying, brush)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting and construction.
- Strong communication skills with the public, staff, and workmates
