Job Overview:
MEG is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join one of our long-term clients' team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and soldering mechanical components according to engineering specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Shifts:
1st shift hours are Monday-Thursday from 5:30am to 4:00pm OR Monday-Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Perform quality checks to ensure all components meet specifications
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience with soldering and fabricating mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- High School Diploma or GED
