Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves a variety of tasks that require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are easily accessible.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Handle office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Provide support to other staff members as required to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Secretary or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
