Industrial Painter/Sandblaster

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing industrial products, with a focus on quality and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy and vinyl ester coatings to concrete, and ensuring that all work meets company standards.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for concrete coatings by grinding or sandblasting.
• Apply paint and using various techniques including spray, brush, and roller methods.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and touch up areas as needed.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial painting, concrete coatings and polymer concrete.
• Strong coatings and concrete knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a industrial environment with an emphasis on safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods during the workday.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the industry.
