Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Proactively communicate with clients, addressing concerns, anticipating needs, and resolving issues swiftly.
- Provide detailed follow-up emails to clients after meetings.
- Liaise with Property Management teams to coordinate facility-related functions.
- Ensure all facilities maintain a clean and orderly environment, aligning with client standards.
- Manage equipment and supply inventory to meet budgetary and operational requirements.
- Schedule and oversee special services, ensuring work orders meet accounting deadlines.
- Conduct monthly on-site quality inspections (MRI QMR) alongside client site supervisors.
- Recruit, train, and supervise site supervisors and cleaning crews, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Evaluate team performance and implement corrective actions or provide additional training as necessary.
- Step in to fill supervisory roles or cover staffing shortages when required.
- Create and share weekly work plans with direct supervisors.
- Utilize management tools, including MRI QMR, Paycom, Outlook, Excel, and Word, to streamline operations.
- Manage payroll reports, work orders, scheduling, and training needs.
- Oversee employee hiring, terminations, and timekeeping processes.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, including managing SDS, PPE, and safety procedures.
- Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions with Property Management leaders.
- Report client needs, concerns, and resolutions to the MRI Regional Manager.
- Maintain organized inventory closets and shop areas for operational efficiency.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of management and training experience in janitorial or facility management services.
- At least two years of hands-on janitorial experience, including supervising crews and implementing preventive programs.
- Direct customer service experience for a minimum of two years.
- Strong customer communication skills with a professional and positive demeanor.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Knowledge of restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet care, hard floor care, equipment maintenance, and chemical usage.
- OSHA training certification or the ability to obtain certification.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required (including by plane).
- Ability to pass background checks and drug testing.
- Requires daily computer use, driving to client facilities, and conducting site visits.
- Physical activities include standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Occasional nights, weekends, or out-of-state travel may be required.
- Ensures the maintenance of organized inventory closets and shop areas.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Regular driving to and from client facilities.
