Summer Paint Crew Member

Job Summary:
Pea Ridge is seeking motivated individuals to join our Summer Paint Crew. This seasonal position is responsible for painting and refreshing school district buildings to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for students and others seeking summer employment with flexible hours and hands-on experience in maintenance and facility upkeep.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers on various surfaces (walls, doors, trim, etc.)
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up work areas daily
- Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of paint and equipment
- Work efficiently in a team environment to complete projects on schedule
- Perform other light maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- Willingness to learn and follow proper painting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks neatly and efficiently
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in warm conditions
- No prior painting experience required, but preferred
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible hours within Monday–Friday, typically between 7 AM – 4 PM
- Approx. 20-40 hours per week, depending on availability and workload
- Pay Rate: $13-20 per hour, depending on experience
- Seasonal position from May 28, 2025 – August 1, 2025
