Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for:
Design Responsibilities
- Ensuring plans and specifications meet the latest standards and regulations
- Coordinating design efforts with other technical staff members
- Identifying best-value design options and presenting them to management
Survey Responsibilities
- Acting as crew chief for route, construction, and bridge surveys
- Using advanced surveying instruments and technology to maximize efficiency
- Verifying accuracy of all survey work
Construction Inspection Responsibilities
- Ensuring all required materials testing is completed on time
- Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications
- Performing tests on compaction, bituminous proportionality, aggregate, and concrete air entrainment and slump
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 12 years of experience in engineering design, surveying, and construction inspection
- Aggregate Production, Grading and Base 1&2, Bituminous Street, Bituminous Plant 1, Concrete Field 1&2, Concrete Plant 1, Bridge Construction, and Bridge Inspection Team Leader certifications
