Our entertainment client is looking for an Active Directory Engineer for a long term contract.
Onsite 4 days a week in Seattle, Burbank or Orlando.
Take the lead in assessing, upgrading, and migrating domain controllers within the Active Directory (AD) forest, ensuring smooth decommissioning and migration processes. Analyze and transition legacy PKI certificates into Microsoft s PKI service while ensuring security compliance. Design and evaluate innovative solutions for service offerings with thorough technical analysis and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level hybrid LDAP solutions, supporting 40,000 users.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Identity Manager, AADC, and LDAP integrations.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (domain controllers, services, connectivity) and logical elements (GPOs, directory structure).
- Proven experience leading large IT projects and managing vendors.
Project Highlights:
- Domain Controller Consolidation: Assess and migrate domain controllers, ensuring replication integrity and health during upgrades.
- PKI Certificate Migration: Transition legacy certificates to modern PKI infrastructure with minimal disruption, ensuring compliance.
- Active Directory Optimization: Remove stale objects, optimize replication, and enforce best practices in AD security and auditing.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve AD, DNS, and PKI-related issues while working with teams to remediate security vulnerabilities.
