Position: Transportation Driver
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport patients to appointments, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist patients in entering and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during transport, reporting any changes to medical staff as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
- Document patient transport details accurately using systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient schedules and transportation needs.
- Driving residents
Requirements:
- Preferred Successful completion of a nursing assistant course
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Work as a team member responsibly and independently
- Document/Record observations and activities
- Possess good communication skills
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population
- Able to assess data reflecting the resident’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident’s requirements relative to their age-specific need
