Position: Transportation Driver

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to appointments, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist patients in entering and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during transport, reporting any changes to medical staff as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
• Document patient transport details accurately using systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient schedules and transportation needs.
• Driving residents

Requirements:

• Preferred Successful completion of a nursing assistant course
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Work as a team member responsibly and independently
• Document/Record observations and activities
• Possess good communication skills
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population
• Able to assess data reflecting the resident’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident’s requirements relative to their age-specific need

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient schedules and transportation needs.
• Provide assistance in medical-surgical settings when required, including knowledge of aseptic techniques and infectious disease care.
